The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation upholds the bill to amend the Code of Administrative Violations of Ukraine and the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding increase of responsibility for violation of environmental legislation

The bill (Reg. No. 11037) is aimed at increasing responsibility for violation of environmental legislation.

Members of the Committee believe that implementation of provisions of the bill will facilitate better use and protection of environment, and create a more efficient mechanism to stop violations of environmental legislation and eliminate their negative consequences.
